I’d like to shake your hand and congratulate you myself! This is a very worthy, time consuming 1000 that few people will have so you can consider yourself to be among the elite.Īlright, this isn't as challenging as the first boss fight. If by chance you make it to this point and you do get the full 1000, please send me a private message in the forums. That's it! If you've gotten to this point and followed my advice you should have 1000 in this game. Again, for multiplayer matches, it will just take a lot of patience and a good group of willing gamers to help you net all of those achievements. If there are any achievements that you forgot or missed, just simply go back and reload your saves or start over to get them. Be sure to check the forums to see if anyone would be interested in boosting the achievements with you. Keep in mind that we are talking about a game that was released when the Xbox 360 first hit shelves, so you’ll be lucky to find many people playing. In all seriousness, the likelihood of getting the vast majority of the multiplayer achievements is possible - it will just take you a long time. Please read them carefully.Īs for multiplayer achievements, good luck. A description for how and when to get these is listed in the Quake 4 guide as well. Those achievements are: " Galactic Order of Heroism", " Sky Marshall’s Medal of Valor", and " Solar Star of Courage". There are three achievements that you will want to focus on while you progress through the game. Simply play through each difficulty progressing through the storyline and you’ll earn the achievements for single player. I recommend doing a bunch of Quickie matches where the max kill limit is 5. This achievement requires you play 5000 online ranked matches. The only other achievement that will take you longer will be the " Seasoned Warrior" achievement. Tons of gamers have boosted to get these achievements so be prepared to sit in for the long haul and find other dedicated gamers who will join you in your endeavor. The method for boosting to get these achievements can be found in the Quake 4 guide located below. Note: The " Top Ten" and " Number One" achievements to get to the top of the leaderboards will take you a long time and consist of getting a dedicated group of boosting partners together. This will allow you an opportunity to see which weapons are most effective against the multitude of enemies that you will encounter and allow you to map out your strategy when going back through the other difficulties. I would strongly recommend playing the game through in an easier difficulty, so you’ll have somewhat of an idea of where the enemies will be and where you will run into bosses. Whether you decide to give General difficulty a stab from the get go or whether you decide to hold off until later, I can’t stress enough that you need to just take your time, make use of your ammo wisely, and you’ll be fine. If you don't have anyone on your friends list with this game, you can find some partners in the forums. Finding a good group of friends is crucial to netting the full 1000 in this game. 27 achievements are unlocked simply by playing through the story and 23 are gained by playing through the multiplayer portion of the game. This game has a total of 50 achievements and requires four separate playthroughs to get the full 1000. The multiplayer achievements, while not completely out of reach, are going to be very difficult to achieve because they are very time consuming and few people play online. The single player achievements are not stackable, so this requires you to playing through each difficulty individually. If you are planning on getting the complete 1000 in this game, buckle up and prepare for a LONG ride. Quake 4 is a great game that is sure to bring back some good memories if you were a fan of the earlier titles. Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 4 Approximate amount of time to 1000 : 100+ hours
